In the creation phase of networking Mer Innovate’s partners rely on 4 key supports in order to group actors whom might be interested in the issues which the project focuses on. For this, they rely on the expertise of these headends, specialised in the maritime economy and Marine Renewable Energy.
Marine South East is a consortium of companies located in Chichester and aims to meet the needs of the maritime industry in the South-east of the UK. It was created to address critical business issues in the region and support the economic development of the maritime sector through innovation. It is involved in several European projects as CAMIS PROTTEC and ROOT.
Regen South West is a mobilizing actor whose role is essential to attract as much as possible the maritime industry and innovation. It is a leading center of renewable energies involved in many innovative projects. This particular organisation helps businesses and local authorities to deliver renewable energy and efficiently energy in the south-west of England.
West Normandy Marine Energy (WNME) was created in 2012 by Laurent Beauvais (President of the Basse-Normandie Region Council), Jean-François Le Grand (President of the Manche General Council) and André ROUXEL (President of the Urban Community of Cherbourg). Its aim is to encourage and organise the development of EMR in Normandy.
WNME is the perfect partner of firms, governmental agencies, the European Commission and local organisations in all matters relating to EMR : industrial activity, research and innovation, subcontracting, training and port facilities in conjunction with the Ports of Normandy Authority (PNA)
MIRIADE is the regional agency for innovation and economic development in Lower Normandy. Its missions are to expand and succeed innovative and offensive projects of businesses, R&D entities, and higher education in Lower Normandy. The last 4 years MIRIADE organised 16 R & D workshops and 8 BTOB workshops representing more 650 appointments in tete a tete on these themes: cars, eco-materials, marine culture, food industry, boating, ICT, horse health, environmental technologies, marine renewable energy, forestry.
